Unitarian Universalist Church. UU congregations employ democratic governance and typically feature intellectual, socially progressive worship that may incorporate elements from various traditions. While some UUs maintain Christian identification, many embrace humanism, paganism, Buddhism, or create individualized spiritual paths, united by their commitment to ethical living and social justice rather than shared theological beliefs.
